About this guide

Giza Museum Guide is an independent visitor guide to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). We are not affiliated with the museum, the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, or any tour operator. We do not sell museum tickets.

Editorial policy

• Facts come from official sources. Prices, hours and rules are kept in one place and checked against the museum’s official website. Each fact records the date we last checked it.
• We show when we last updated a page at the top of every guide.
• No fake social proof. We don’t publish invented reviews, ratings, testimonials or visitor counts.
• Corrections. If something is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
